Assist management in negotiating legal terms of international business transactions and agreements,
Including purchasing agreements, distribution agreements, and joint ventures.

 

Conduct due diligence as to any partnerships or joint ventures entered into by the  employer. Advise management as to contract disputes with Mexican suppliers, including delivery disputes, breaches of agreement, price disputes, and disputes over value of produce and terms of delivery.

 

Provide counsel on both compliance issues and enforcement actions regarding international trade transactions, including tariff classification, valuation, country of origin rules, duty preference programs, and intellectual property rights compliance.

 

Advise the employer as to Mexican government affairs related to international trade, trade delegations or trade missions.
